After some deliberation, I decided it was time to add some photography to this site. I'm starting with older images, and working my way to current ones. This first set is from two trips I took while living in Japan - one to Thailand, and one to Newfoundland and Labrador. Both were amazing trips for completely different reasons - both beautiful locations with friendly people and incredible wildlife; both struggling economically; both with rich histories. In Battle Harbour, Labrador, cod was king; until it was overfished. In Chiang Dao, Thailand, elephants were used for labor, along with the local native peoples; and now there are sanctuaries for both.
The photos are 8" x 10" and will be framed and matted with grey mats and black frames.
